Air France and KLM boost winter long-haul network
Air France is bolstering its network to Asia by adding a route from Paris to Phuket in Thailand.
The carrier will introduce flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Phuket airports from 27 November, with the route operating three times per week.
The move comes after Air France introduced a new service to Manila in the Philippines in December 2024.
Flights from Paris to Phuket will operate on Monday, Thursday and Saturday, with the return services from Thailand on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The carrier will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the route.
Meanwhile, sister airline KLM is to extend flights on its new Amsterdam Schiphol-San Diego route into next winter’s season.
The route, which will be introduced by KLM next month, will operate three days per week as part of the winter 2025-26 schedule using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
KLM will also add three extra weekly flights from Schiphol to Cape Town next winter, while another weekly service will be introduced on the existing US routes to Portland and Miami, as well as to Bengaluru in India.
