Lucknow civic body urges citizens to pay property tax by April 30 for 10% rebate, ET RealEstate
LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) urged citizens to pay the property tax by April 30 to avail a special 10% rebate.
Officials said that from May 1, the rebate will be reduced to 8% for online payments and 6% for offline payments. Citizens are encouraged to pay online to avoid crowds, with easy options available through WhatsApp links, the LMC website (lmc.up.nic.in), SMS links and HDFC and Axis bank branches.
For offline payments, an 8% rebate is available at zonal office cash counters.
Municipal commissioner Manoj Kumar emphasised that the revenue will help strengthen city infrastructure and urged residents to support the effort to make the city cleaner, more beautiful and smarter.
