Golf Business News – Golfmanager partners with Smart Golf
Golfmanager, a leading software platform designed to fully digitalise the day-to-day operations of golf clubs, has partnered with Smart Golf – the new golf division of Smart Padel Automation – to take golf facility automation to the next level.
The collaboration is focused on improving operational efficiency and club management by implementing advanced technology that drives profitability and enhances the overall experience for both club managers and players.
Smart Golf offers automation solutions for a wide range of systems, including access control (indoor door systems, parking barriers, QR codes, licence plate readers), lighting (smart clubhouse lighting systems optimised for energy use), HVAC, alarms, presence detectors, and more. It also enables automated control of golf simulators – a growing segment – helping clubs reduce operating costs and streamline management.
Smart Golf will now act as Golfmanager’s official global automation partner, providing solutions to the more than 350 golf courses in 25 countries already using Golfmanager’s 100% cloud-based, multi-device platform.
This partnership builds on Golfmanager’s vision to empower golf clubs through innovation and relies on Smart Golf’s extensive experience automating racquet sports venues around the world. With over 400 clients in 29 countries, Smart Golf is also the exclusive automation partner of Playtomic, the world’s leading racket sports booking app.
The collaboration not only aims to modernise club operations, but also supports sustainability goals, revenue growth, and significant operational cost savings. For multi-sport clubs offering facilities like tennis, padel, or pickleball, Smart Golf can also automate these areas, creating a seamless management experience across all sports and services.
One of the first clubs to implement this integrated solution is The Sand Trap Golf Indoor in Michigan, USA. Thanks to the combined technologies, the simulator room now opens automatically for booked and paid reservations only. The process is fully automated: once a reservation is confirmed via Golfmanager, the player receives a four-digit PIN that grants them access to the facility, without any need for on-site staff. This not only enhances the customer experience by allowing independent and secure access but also reduces overheads and enables remote management, streamlining day-to-day operations.
“We’re delighted to partner with Smart Golf to continue advancing the digitalisation and automation of golf clubs,” said Daniel Sillari, Co-CEO and co-founder of Golfmanager. “Digital transformation is no longer optional — It’s a necessity — and we want to help clubs unlock the full potential of automation to improve efficiency and profitability.”
José Enrique Conde, CEO of Smart Golf, added: “This integration responds directly to the sector’s needs. With our combined technologies and deep expertise, we aim to help club managers implement high-efficiency processes. Smart Golf is a milestone in our business growth, and we’re confident this partnership will lead the way in reshaping how golf clubs operate globally.”
