Mullen’s Dairy Bar creates ‘super premium’ ice cream | Waukesha Co. Business News

In a continued effort to make the best ice cream, Mullen’s Dairy Bar has developed a new, all-natural 14% butterfat mix with its long-term local partner Galloway Company, making it “super premium.” In addition, the ice cream shop has removed corn syrup and carrageenan, a food additive that some say could cause negative health effects.

“When we announced the transition away from artificial dyes last fall, we received considerable feedback about both corn syrup and carrageenan. We shared we were on a journey to get to an all-natural ice cream that families can enjoy. We are proud to announce that we are now there,” reads a Facebook post.

Mullen’s Dairy Bar has three locations in downtown Watertown, downtown Oconomowoc and the Smiley Barn in Delafield.
