NEW ORLEANS

Heather Sweeney has been hired as director of development for the Bureau of Governmental Research.

Sweeney has two decades of experience in fundraising and philanthropy, including serving as director of development for Second Harvest Food Bank for more than 11 years.

She earned a bachelor’s in psychology from Connecticut College and a master’s from Ohio State University.

Emily Olivier Kesler has been elected by Baker Donelson as a shareholder.

Kesler is a member of the firm’s government enforcement and investigations group, focused primarily on defending government investigations and enforcement actions, as well as discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims.

She earned a bachelor’s, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia and a law degree, magna cum laude, from William & Mary Law School. Kesler served as lead articles editor of the William & Mary Law Review.

BATON ROUGE

Lauren Lambert-Tompkins has been hired as director of marketing and communications for Manship Theatre.

Lambert-Tompkins formerly worked as executive director of The Baton Rouge Blues Festival and Foundation, executive director of Downtown Business Association and development director of STUN Strategic Creatives.

She earned a bachelor’s from Louisiana Tech and a master’s from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Melissa Tullier has been hired as vice president of operational systems and support for Campus Federal Credit Union.

Tullier previously served as vice president of strategic planning for OnPath Federal Credit Union and as vice president of consumer lending at Louisiana Federal Credit Union

She earned a bachelor’s in management from Southeastern Louisiana University and a master’s in business administration from LSU Shreveport.

Emily Flanagan has been appointed as an assistant professor-research at Pennington Biomedical Research Center.

Flanagan has been a postdoctoral fellow at Pennington for the past five years, under the mentorship of Dr. Leanne Redman in the Reproductive Endocrinology and Women’s Health Laboratory.

She earned a master’s in clinical exercise physiology and a doctorate in exercise physiology, both from the University of Miami.

Ty Gose and Michael Cashio have joined CBRE as senior vice presidents.

They will lead CBRE’s nine-person Baton Rouge office, which will complement the firm’s New Orleans operations.

Gose and Cashio have a combined 33 years of experience in commercial brokerage at NAI Latter & Blum. Over the last several years, the two have completed more than $1.5 billion in transactions.

The CBRE team also includes Chris Gremillion and Jonann Stutzman, vice presidents; Hunter Harris, senior associate; Landon Leger, Jake Loach and Alex McCollam, associates; and Jessica Lieux, senior client specialist.
