Sales Include Business Buildings In Westfield, Jamestown | News, Sports, Jobs


21 E. Second St., Jamestown has been sold to Vu Huynh for $159,000.

Two currently vacant business buildings in Chautauqua County have been sold.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Feb. 18-21.

During this time period, Debra Raynor sold 166 N. Portage St., Westfield, to Bass Equity Holdings, LLC of Edinboro, Pa. for $70,000. This was the location of Raynor’s Hunting and Fishing Emporium, which is permanently closed.

In a separate sale, Edward S. Balarin Foundation, Inc. sold 421 E. Second St., Jamestown to Vu Huynh for $159,000. There does not appear to be any businesses there currently, however Curves had been located there, as well as other businesses, including a physical therapist, a pet grooming business, and more. A sign outside called the building the “Jamestown Office Complex.”

From Feb. 18-21, there were three sales that were $250,000 or higher. Those sales are as follows:

166 N. Portage St., Westfield has been sold to Bass Equity Holdings, LLC for $70,000.

– Melissa Brzozowski sold 355 East Main St., Fredonia to William Kendall and Sommer Gutierrez for $264,000.

– Jason Morrison sold 4382 West Lake Road, Chautauqua town to the John F. Turben and Susan H. Turben 1998 Descendants Trust for $278,500.

– Timothy and Amy McGaughey sold 3522 Stetson Road, Mina to Sarah and Tommy Warnick for $260,000.

Overall, from Feb. 18-21, there were 68 transactions. The full list of sales higher than $1 is as follows:

Alan and Marsha Anderson sold a parcel on Park Meadow Drive, Busti to Daniel and Toni Davis for $25,000.

Barbara and Valeria Colt sold 45 Smith St., Portland to Erin Stewart and Dennis Colt Jr. for $180,000.

Maria Andalora sold 24 Mont Alto Drive, Jamestown to Caleb and Elysa Caldwell for $205,000.

Therese Rivard sold 3323 Werle Road, Sheridan to Dalton and Sydney Francis for $335,000.

Jamie Bell sold 345 Price St., Jamestown to Russell and Antonina Bell for $140,000.

Sarah Patric sold 263 Prospect St., Jamestown to Sueanne and Steven Muscarella for $30,000.

Kevin and Kathleen Mizak sold 29 S. Alleghany Ave., Ellicott for $136,500.
