184 beneficiaries receive new homes under PMAY, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate
CHHAPRA: A total of 184 beneficiaries were handed over the keys to their newly constructed houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (Urban) 1.0 on Thursday by Chhapra municipal commissioner Sunil Kumar Pandey.
Saran DPRO Ravindra Kumar said that the beneficiaries were given Rs 2.5 lakh in three instalments for construction of their houses as per govt specifications between Oct 24, 2024, and March 25.
He further said that the beneficiaries were paid Rs 1 lakh each in the first and second instalments, and Rs 50,000 in the third. About 683 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (Urban) 2.0 were paid the first instalment by the PM on Thursday.
