Golf Business News – Brocket Hall to open Phil Kenyon Putting Studio

Brocket Hall Estate has announced that world-renowned putting coach Phil Kenyon is to open a new state-of-the-art putting studio at the Hertfordshire-based venue.

Kenyon is a PGA Master Professional who, along with his team, has worked with some of the best golfers in the world, including Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Matt Fitzpatrick, Francesco Molinari, Gary Woodland, Henrik Stenson and Tommy Fleetwood.

Having enjoyed huge success with his professional clients, who between them have won six Majors and over 70 titles on the European and PGA tours, Kenyon has also helped thousands of amateur golfers improve their putting.

The Phil Kenyon Putting Studio at Brocket Hall will feature a host of hi-tech equipment for coaching and analysing the putting stroke, such as Zen Green Stage, PuttView, SAM Putt Lab and Vertex Golf motion sensors, which will give amateur golfers access to the same coaching framework and experience the world’s best players benefit from. The facility will also feature a 1,500 square foot USGA-standard putting green.

Phil Kenyon is one of the world’s leading putting coaches

Kenyon said: “I’m excited to be involved in the project at Brocket Hall. I’ve known Brocket Hall’s general manager, Lee Williams, for many years and when he spoke to me about his vision for Brocket Hall I immediately wanted to be involved.

“Adding a state-of-the-art putting studio and bespoke putting green will add an extra dimension to the academy that will allow golfers access to world class instruction and support in an area of the game I’m obviously so passionate about. I’d also like to thank Brocket Hall’s chairman Joe Zhou for his enthusiasm and hard work in making this happen.”

Lee Williams, the general manager at Brocket Hall, said: “We are very excited and proud to be working with Phil Kenyon, who is recognised throughout the golf industry as one of the world’s leading putting coaches. With such world-class facilities, we will be offering a full portfolio of professional instruction by qualified professionals offering 1-2-1, group and residential clinics supported by our on-site accommodation and award-winning hospitality.”

The new putting studio will serve to enhance the already impressive practice and coaching facilities on offer at Brocket Hall
